preposterous assumptions

Wow. A timely quote. I actually heard someone on TV complaining that the federal government was going to help the people of the Gulf Coast.
Of course, "Bob from Indiana" was probably sitting on his couch, after a good night's sleep in his bed and eating a good breakfast, complaining about helping people in dire need before jumping in his car and heading out to enjoy his Labor Day holiday.
